Job Description
We are seeking a Senior SAP Basis Administrator who will be part of the team whose overall responsibilities are to provide support for SAP implementation. The overall objective of the Basis group would be to keep the system up and running at optimal performance. Some of the responsibilities of the Basis Team during the implementation and support phases are the following:

. Install/Upgrade SAP R/3 system and Oracle database software using SAP installation tools; Basis Support Knowledge in Netweaver CRM/BW/PI/HCM/SCM
. System Layout of Development, QA, and Production systems
. Setup and Support of SAP print devices and/or connection to output management systems, external fax systems and SAP GUI front-end software for required clients
. Change Management, Transport from Development -> QA -> Production, troubleshooting, SAP service packages, OSS notes
. Security Administration, security methodology documentation and change control procedures, Create and maintain user functions and roles, user ids, user passwords, security audits
. Create, maintain and monitor Job Scheduling, spool reorgs, job log reorgs, database statistics updates, etc.
. Database Administration: Performance monitoring and tuning, Creation of database table and indexes, patches, capacity planning
. Operating System Administration: Install, upgrade and patching server software, Performance monitoring and tuning, Allocation of disk resources, Capacity planning
. Installation and upgrade of 3rd party software (ie: Remedy, TopCall, Connect Direct, TeleAlert, etc) and Other Administrative Tasks; Support of Data Warehouse servers and databases


Required Technical Skills:
- 2 or 4 year Degree
- 5 years SAP Basis experience
- SAP 4.6C
- Production Job Scheduling toolset: Maestro
- Oracle Administration
- Security, Transport, Generate RFC
- Unix about 5 years, prefer HP

Plus Skills:
- Oracle 11i Technical skills would be a major plus.
- Working knowledge of CRM, configuration, prefer experience with version 2 or 3.
