Job Description
Lay Out the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Production Plan. Interact with the corresponding departments internal/external to follow up and coordinate the required builds.
REQUIREMENTS.
1. Professional Degree (Min. BS in Business, Ideal MBA in Business)
2. Min. 6 years experience in planning, New Product Introduction and or transfers.
3. Experience in Planning, Purchasing and Material Management Areas.
4. Experience in New Product Launches, transfers and Engineering changes.
5. Bilingual (spanish-english)
6. Negotiation skills
7. Computer Proofread
8. Cost Analysis
9. SAP and
Oracle
experience
10. Inventory Management/Program Management
11. Well organized with strong analytical reasoning skills.
12. Strong team participation skills
13. Work under pressure.
RESPONSABILITIES OF THE POSITION.
1. Defines material and inventory strategies.
2. Establishes inventory and safety stock levels.
3. Production / Material Planning and Control of Multiple product lines required to meet the forecast.
4. Negotiates to establish priorities, quantities and time frames for product build schedules.
5. Development of production planning processes and reports to improve efficiencies, data accuracy and reduce workload.
6. Shared responsibility to ensure that all production lines are running.
7. Responsible for the supervision of the planning department staff.
8. Communicates the requirements to all functional areas of the factory.
9. Schedules products based on material availability, production line capacity and setup optimization to maximize efficiencies.
10. Coordinate proper material flow Rec-QI-Stock-Whse-WIP-Non Conf/Scrap-Ship.
11. Maintain Production Orders BOM accuracy to latest Revision and adjust any deviations on Components to be utilized during the builds.
12. Review Whole Picture NPI Schedule to identify potential Resource Issues.
13. Ensure proper Product and Sub-assy Part Numbers Set Up in SAP for Production
