SQL Server DBA/BI SSRS, SSIS Job in Scottsdale Arizona (AZ)

A growing company in the Scottsdale, AZ area is looking for a SQL Server DBA to be in charge of installation. This person will perform patching and upgrades on all enterprise database systems.

Responsibilities:

• User provisioning and security on all enterprise database systems
• Maintains the integrity of data within the production environment including the execution of proper backup and restoration policies and procedures
• Provides input on the selection and implementation of all database administration tools
• Assists with database cleanup and optimization activities
• Assists with data modelling and database design
• Assists with preparation of detailed technical specifications
• Develops ETL for Datawarehouse projects
• Helps in database programming, troubleshooting, and management of problems affecting IT and enterprise database applications, as well as developing the area for future expansion
• Provides Tier 3 support and resolution of open database issues escalated by IT Customer Support

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience performing database administration responsibilities
• Experience with multiple database systems such as SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, and SQL Server 2008
• Experience with development and maintenance of database objects like stored procedures, functions, DTS packages, and SSIS packages
• Experience with developing ETL for Datawarehouse projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Capable of prioritizing and managing assignments, tasks, and significant projects to completion with minimal supervision
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals

• Experience with Datawarehouse design
• Experience with .NET development, C#
• Experience with SQL Reporting services
• Experience in Oracle 10g
