SharePoint Developer Job #2798 Akron/Canton, Ohio
Compensation: $60.00 - $66.00 per hour.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related Management Information Systems or Information Sciences field or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 3 years experience in SharePoint development
• A minimum of 3 years experience and familiarity of SharePoint 2007 and 2010 functionality and capabilities
• Competent with common SharePoint administration tasks
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 and other Microsoft SharePoint related tools, e.g. SharePoint Designer (2007 & 2010), InfoPath (2007 or 2010), Visio 2010, and MS Project 2010
• Experience developing SharePoint 2007 and 2010 workflows, web parts, timer jobs, custom actions, event handlers, feature receivers, master pages, and page layouts
• Experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, XML, WCF, Web Services, and the .NET Framework a plus
• Experience with SQL Server database design and development and Oracle DB design and development a plus
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services report design and development in SharePoint integrated mode a plus
• Microsoft and other Professional Certifications a plus
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
Responsibilities:
• Design, document, develop, and test high performing SharePoint based applications using the latest techniques such as AJAX, Silverlight, and REST
• Develop bug-free, standards based code using industry best practices built on the SharePoint platform
• Must possess strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Work with an international team to ensure project timelines are adhered to and team standards and processes are followed throughout the software development lifecycle
• Create design documents based on UML standards
Compensation: $60.00 - $66.00 per hour.
